While some cities, countries and jurisdictions are beginning to relax their lockdown rules somewhat, travel bans and other restrictions continue to prevent many people from being able to meet up in anything like the way they would have in the days before the global Covid pandemic took hold last year...

So, as we've done a few times previously since then, we're posting in our news section a selection of events from our regular "Listings" page (www.americanexpatfinance.com/news/item), to help some of these online event sponsors and their audiences to find each other – especially now, as tax reporting season trundles on, and the latest round of CARES Act stimulus checks are arriving in expat mailboxes...

Tuesday, June 8: webinar, featuring Calgary, Canada-based Moodys Tax CEO Kim G. C. Moody, discussing his 2020 book, "Making Life Less Taxing", to be followed by a Q&A session; noon to 1:15pm MDT (2pm EST, 7pm British Summer Time).

Friday, June 11 – Sunday, June 13: G7 Summit, to be held in Carbis Bay, Cornwall, England; to be attended by U.S. President Joe Biden, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson, and other G7 leaders.

Afterwards, the president will travel to Brussels, Belgium, to participate in the Nato Summit, beginning on June 14.

In addition to the U.S. and UK, G7 members include Germany, France, Canada, Italy and Japan. Leaders from Australia, India, South Korea and the EU are also scheduled to attend the summit as guests. More than 5,500 police will be on call to ensure the summit takes place peacefully, according to media reports.

The last time the G7 leaders met together in person was at the 2019 summit in Biarritz, France.
 

Thursday, June 17: 'Top Five Questions to Ask When Choosing International Health Insurance' webinar, sponsored by International Citizens Insurance, the cross-border health insurance specialists; 11am Eastern Daylight Time (4pm British Summer Time, 5pm Central European Summer Time)

This half-hour webinar will feature International Citizens Insurance's Andrew Blomberg, who will share his insights as to what questions to ask when choosing an international health insurance plan, to ensure that viewers have the tools they need to purchase the right coverage for themselves and their families. A 10-minute Q&A session will follow the presentation.
