Latest tax and financial planning webinars, podcasts & events on offer

Once again, we're posting in our news section a selection of events from our regular "Listings" page, to help some of these online event sponsors and their audiences to find each other...

Even though a growing number of cities, countries and jurisdictions have relaxed their lockdown rules, various restrictions  continue to prevent many people from being able to meet up in anything like the way they would have in the days before the global Covid pandemic took hold last year...

Thursday, Oct. 21:  'An introduction to 21st-century American colleges, universities, and applications: A webinar for U.S. expatriates and their children', hosted by the American Citizens Abroad, in conjunction with Crimson Coaching; 1 - 2pm Eastern Standard Time (New York, Washington DC), 6 -7pm GMT; 7 - 8 pm, Central European Time

This free webinar is intended to help expatriate American parents navigate the American system of post-secondary education, which changes constantly, especially, it has been said, during a global pandemic. In the first half of this one-hour webinar, college counselor and president of Crimson Coaching, Dominique "Dr. P." Padurano will set out the current state of the United States’ varied system of colleges and universities, as well as the general application process, both of which have evolved considerably since the parents of today's future college students were at college.

During the second half of the webinar, "Dr. P." will advise American parents and their children as to what they might do during each year of high school, in order to best prepare themselves for the application process to U.S. colleges and universities.

The webinar will be free, but registration in advance is required. A recording of the webinar will be made available afterwards. More information may be found by clicking here. More information about "Dr. P." may be found at www.crimsoncoaching.com/about
